Our Putting mirror offers instant feedback on all aspects of your setup ensuring you build a solid foundation for a Pure Stroke. Good head and shoulder alignment is critical; our mirror is designed with the markers and lines you need to develop a consistent pre-putt routine to ensure proper alignment.
You need to observe and understand green contours better. To do this try to visualise the amount of break the ball will have from the starting line of the putter. A String Line will help you visualise the start line while ghost holes (found within our putting disc set) can be a great aid for visualising the path of the ball to the hole.
Our sternum stick will help you with this, it will give you instant feedback on any wrist manipulation and any movement away from the body. Another option is to consider using a wider grip putter grip such as those from 2THUMB Grip, the increased surface area will reduce any tension in your wrists and ultimately 'calm them down'.
Putting mats will helps improve your strike and quality of stroke by helping you identify any flaws in the angle of your putter face at impact (is it open or closed), it will also help you control the length of your stroke and the starting line of the ball. They are a really versatile training aid that can roll up and travel anywhere with you which is one of the reasons they are widely used.
It is important that you select the appropriate Path Trainer (Red, Green, Blue, Orange, Yellow) that matches the desired arc of your putter path.
To ensure you do this correctly please read our fitting guide then apply your desired plane angle and radius measurement to the chart to select the best Path Trainer for you.
If you have a tendency to push or pull your putts, putting gates will not only identify this but enable you to build practice drills with consequence to help you overcome that tendency.
Our putting disc is larger (same diameter as a golf hole) than our ghost holes and much thicker too. They are designed to act as a hole that can be placed anywhere on a putting green to simulate a putt to any location. They are also great if you are practicing on a busy putting green and want to find a quiet spot!
Ghost holes are typically placed along the path of the putt so that you can better visualise the break. They are also useful for placing past the hole on the intended line as a visual marker for where you ideally want the ball to stop (if the hole wasn’t there) which is typically 18 inches past the hole..
